At the NCAA covention, in January, the P5 will hold two separate,
members-only meetings to discuss/vote upon and adopt measures that affect them. Essentially,bvthey will discuss the future as it pertains to them, without a single thought how it might affect those outside the club. The real separation will begin in those meetings.

As CFP progresses and the NY6 distance themselves from the other bowls, the media will gravitate towards coverage of what may rival the NFL in popularity. In the future, expect more publicity involving the power conferences and the NY6 and less publicity regarding everyone else.

I believe, that since last year, the administration finally understands the ramifications of being left on the outside. We will no longer, as a member of D1, have any say in what the P5s do, how they do it and when they do it. Given the choices, I would opt for less publicity if we could retain our voice in the future of college football.
