that's simply not true
we blitzed plenty on third down and hit their qb's plenty of times. unfortunately, since we had to bring blitzers and not go with 3 or 4, that then forced him to play the db's off of the wr's for fear of getting beat on a big play.
you've got to understand that there are second, third and fourth order effects to what one piece of the defense does. oh, and they offense has a say, too.
