A common theme across watching BYU play is that we are rarely seeing any kind of pressure getting to the other team's QB a lot of the time. There are a lot of "broken plays" where we rush 3 guys and there simply is zero penetration and so the QB lets the play develop, break down, then you have people streaking laterally across the field and doing whatever and you just can't defend that as well.
Not sure how to fix it, but if we're going to blitz, lets actually get some blitz worthy results instead of converted 3rd and 9s and 3rd and 14s. Especially those longer 10+ 3rd down plays drove me crazy. Force them to execute a really fast play, but don't give them several seconds to get a guy down past the first down market and toss the ball to him. Rush the QB better.
Just felt like little to no adjustment. Same play, over and over several times today.
