journalistic objectivity is a myth that the industry has hid behind for far too
long. The very notion that humans can easily put aside their worldview and report "just the facts" has done far more harm than good. You're better off knowing what a given media outlet's biases are and then comparing it with another known quantity.

At any rate, you should just forget the notion of objective reporting, the very decision of what gets reported and what doesn't is evidence of bias. It's a quaint notion that should just fade into history.
