It is somewhat more difficult to pull off a 50 yard play when the team you are facing has a decent defense and are looking to stop a longer play. Our defense is playing solid and the field position you would have gained wasn't worth the risk.

If Anae had called a pass play and it was picked off, you would be here talking about how stupid it is to try to pass when the opponent knows exactly what you are going to do and you weren't going to get 27 yards anyway.

It is extremely easy to sit back from the tv or stands and say what would have worked better... (by the way... we won the game)
