Follow up. People here are misunderstanding the choice. I'm not asking for
a 50 yard pass play. I'm asking for the NOT most conservative play call available (which the actual call was other than taking a knee).
I'm saying simply that the playcall was the epitome of giving up that drive AND giving up field position. A double whammy.
Threre are a plethora of playcalls, especially with a read option, and especially with the QB we have available to at least gain MORE yardage to play field position and give Taysom multiple options to chose from.
That's all I'm saying.
We opted to take a knee.
