and I think kids don't follow football like they once did.
It was probably more likely to take a 10 year-old to a game back when it was more likely to have a 10 year-old who begged to go to games.
I was 10 when I started giving up my Saturdays to sit with my dad and listen to BYU football games on the radio.
I even listened to radio broadcasts of Houston Astros games when they were available in my area a handful of times per years.
It was a different time. ABC, NBC, CBS and PBS were the TV options. There were no VCRs.
Entertainment wasn't as easy.
