Our Bball coach brought out the football blocking pads. Had us practice turning
and leading with the ball and hit the defender in the face with the ball while going up for a layup. I watched our big man do it once. Pretty sure he broke the opponents nose. Blood everywhere. It only happened once then no one would do it anymore.
We won the championship that year.
