I know that the neighbors complain, but the comment about them killing the 100ft screen seems like urban legend, because the N end zone bleachers already block the sun for most/all of the winter anyway. I'm pretty sure that the reason for going with two smaller HD screens (instead of one giant screen) was structural, not political.
