Blechen was offered as a QB at the Utah camp.

He said in interviews that he was willing to play on either side of the ball. His first few weeks were spent at QB in camp and then he asked to be moved because he could see a clearer path to playing time on the defensive side of the ball. BYU tends to leave guys in the QB position to sit on the bench their whole careers, I'll leave it to you to decide which system is better.
