First off, come on-if our team can't handle a little noise on offense how do they handle the road? I guarantee even when there is some cheering before a play, it is not nearly as loud as when we cheer on defense. I've probably been to 80%+ of all the home games since 1980 so hopefully I can state this as something of an expert in BYU football crowds. Second, our biggest problem as a group of fans for home games - in my opinion - is not being loud and excited enough, so I'm really hesitant to EVER ask our fans to be less noisy. They might "condition" in that direction to our detriment.
