And when you set it back up, make sure you aren't connected to any VPN at all, of course.

I'm not quite as into these things as others in this thread, but factory resets are BEAUTIFUL things sometimes.

Have you checked the subnet/gateway of the printer?

Was the printer set up with a hostname or an IP?

I've seen something like this before where ranges of IPs are reserved for VPN...
