The "eyes" will matter in my opinion - it does nothing either way for SOS
My assumption is all 4 still end bowl eligible and unless the loss either way costs them future games (say a significant injury) it may not impact the remainder of their season or conference standings.

Boise will be a much more visible game the week they play and likely later in the year when reviewed in my opinion just because of their history. With them also already having one loss in their division they need more conference wins to give them a better chance to get into the conference championship game.

Neither UCF or Houston have played a conference game yet and can likely overcome 1 loss either way to win their conference as I don't think any team in that conference is so dominant that they internally run the table - I see the conference champ having more than 1 in conference loss. So going back to upcoming "eyes" on the game is why I take that stance.

Either way we are both stating our opinion of how it may value BYU...and neither one of us are absolutely 100% right with our opinions regardless if one of us writes a weekly rooting guide that expresses that opinion. I see a lot of good in your guide in that a lot of it helps strengthen SOS but these head to head games of our opponents do not impact our SOS (unless we end up losing to one of them ) so it is a matter of how we think (opinion) pollsters, committee members and the public will view (or not view on a busy Saturday) these teams when we play them....
