some of you recruiting gurus can explain what the Utes are doing, but I found it interesting that if you look it up they are listed next to 75 or 80 or so 4 star players and even into a few 3 star before it shows their hightest rated commit. Is it their strategy to just appear to be in the running for so many of these guys so they look like they're in great company? I found it fascinating how when sorted by the highest rated you have to go through four pages of names before you find their highest rated committed recruit. BYU's list is much lighter on the highest rated guys they are looking at, but the results as far as actual commits appear to be at least on par with Utah, if not a little better. I've never been that much into the recruiting process, but I found this interesting. I'm guessing Utah didn't used to do it this way before and may be hoping just being in the P12 means they have a shot with some of these guys. Who knows.
