I accept that it's not well researched or supported by the traditional medicine
community. My kids see a regular pediatrician. My son visited the ER for an egg allergy and then received a prescription for an epi pen, which I later used after trying eggs again when he was a little older. I made an appointment to see an allergist, but before I went we were going on vacation to visit my family and heard testimonials from several people about this chiropractor that does NAET allergy therapy. I decided to give it a shot. It is not a harmful or intrusive process and it was inexpensive through this particular NAET practitioner so I was okay with trying it. I was in there with him the whole time. He has not had a reaction to eggs since. My family knows of people who have been cured of peanut allergies and shellfish allergies as adults as well.

The bottom line is that I feel I approached it cautiously and was prepared in the event it didn't work, but I realize that still isn't good enough to many on here. I don't care. I know a pharmacist who didn't support his wife taking their kids because of similar concerns as yours and later asked her to take another kid because he saw how it worked. I've recommended it to others and some are interested and some will never try it and that's fine. I just feel like it's amazing even though it's not well understood or revered and I recommend the process overall, but mostly I recommend my particular NAET practitioner because of my personal experience with and trust in him.
