You implied he was a babysitter, maybe you're unaware of what a babysitter does and that's why you're confused.
You obviously are too young to know anything about Lavell. His job was to manage the other coaches. He drove around on his golf cart in practice humming along the way. He didn't give a flying flip about the honor code, that wasn't his place. So no, obey the honor code was never one of their team rules that was posted on any board or paraded around to the players. Since you're ridiculously uninformed go ask a player who played for him before you respond again, because you have some sort of pre-conceived thoughts that are so far from reality it's obvious you're making them up.
