My wife and I are both 24 and had our first baby a couple months ago. She is
the first grandchild on my wife's side. Her parents have been trying to call themselves "Poppy" and "Nanna," and for whatever reason I absolutely hate it. I have been resistant and just refer to them as being her grandpa and grandma. Am I a jerk for not calling them what they want to be called? Has anyone had to go through similar situations?
