much lower than they are for the football team. I can go to a basketball game and have a good time even if the team doesn't play great and win by 20 points. It doesn't ruin my week, or even my evening when they lose. And I don't have to invest an entire day to attend a basketball game.

This, combined with the fact that college basketball is far more egalitarian than college football is (i.e., a true, inclusive playoff that every team has access to) and my interest is definitely shifting away from football, and towards hoops.

Besides...on a personal level, I like Dave Rose and his staff ALOT better than I like Bronco and his staff. I think, despite all the love for the football team, that BYU hoops is far more likely to make a run at the national title than football is.
