Lot of things go into those statistics. A game here and there can get away from you (ask TCU and Arizona State).

But when the other team consistently outperforms its averages against your defense (which, admittedly, Nevada did not do), you have a problem somewhere. Blaming the players isn't an option. It has to come back to you as a coach.
