I remember one call in the first half that was really, really good
Michael Davis had made a great play on a long pass downfield, then they threw to his guy again and he made a tackle (for a loss, I believe). I leaned over to my dad and said they were going to go at Davis again, because he had to be winded. Davis had to hurry to switch to the other side of the field, but the Howell called a coverage where the safety on Davis' side sprinted over and got on the receiver on Davis' side, Davis took the flat, and both had good coverage, so the play went nowhere, and I believe Nevada punted.

I thought that was a great call by Howell.

That being said, in the second half, it was extremely frustrating watching Nevada get chunk after chunk of yards at will. 3rd and 27? Who cares? They got 23 on 3rd and 4 on 4th.

Again, if players are making multiple execution errors per play, and letting the offense march down the field, in game 7, that's on the coaches.
