Part of the angst here comes from Bronco's prior antagonism of fans, his abysmal record on PR issues (despite knowledge and training), and the questionable timing of his comments. The comments were not made in a vacuum devoid of context or history. After that performance, Bronco should have just thanked all the fans, taken some responsibility for the loss, and said that changes will be made. Instead, we got arrogance, blame shifting, and more of the "same old, same old." For many of us, that's unacceptable.
