meant. Second, anyone following the program know that Bronco loves to get in subtle jabs at fans. If you don't know that, you haven't been paying attention. Bronco's reference to the "many" who left early was a slam - plain and simple. Can I get into his mind? No. But, that comment came from the same guy who called out "uneducated" BYU fans, who refused to acknowledge the 7,000 plus BYU fans present for the BYU/OSU game - instead only paying homage to the OSU fans in the post game show, who referred to fans who question his judgment as "Pharisees and Sadducees," etc. I know a coach, from his behavior, who is not only a defensive genius on the football field, but who is also very defensive in his personality, who gets his pride hurt - who remembers things like fans booing his choice to throw in the towel vs. BC at home in 2005 and punt instead of going for it when the game was lost anyway (and loves to bring it up).
That's Bronco. It was not a benign comment. It was a dig. In my opinion, Bronco is in no position to be digging at BYU fans for not staying to the bitter end at a game that went after midnight when his defense, yet again, couldn't hold onto a two touchdown lead in the second half of a game.
