Because coaches still believe in it and are dead set on it. It was stupid from the start. Even though he says he feels much better at 260, well heck, Bronson, I'm sure every lineman in the pros would enjoy weighing less, but they're at that weight to make millions.
Like you said, he sure ain't going anywhere as a LB. I wish coaches would give it up as well.
