You want to talk about grasping defeat from the jaws of victory? My Gamecocks iced the Missouri game on a long, 4th quarter drive, pounding the ball down their throats to make the score 20-7. I mean, we imposed our will. Their offense had done squat other than when we handed them the ball on our own 30 on an il-advised 4th down try on the first drive of the game. Game over, right? No, we lost 21-20.

Next week was Kentucky, a game we lead from start to almost finish. Almost finish. We were befuddled by the new fangled dangled wildcat formation.
