thing that would bite them in the butt if they were right. If all the players are truly that bad then this illustrates a serious problem with recruiting, a coaching issue. This is nothing new. It was the same thing when apologists argued that Riley Nelson was the best option for QB, and it's the same thing with the defense now. If I'm right, there's a serious problem with player development and schemes that can no longer be ignored. If they're right, these coaches are outright failures at recruiting. Either way I don't see how someone can paint the coaches as blameless after what we've been watching the past five years.
