Great post. This is why I love BYU football even during the tough times (now)
Because I was that kid in 1979. Although in CA, my dad found a way to watch/listen to games with me. These are some of my best childhood memories.
I harbor no ill will toward Utah; I've only lived there 4 years of my life (BYU)... but I understand how you feel having BYU in your DNA.
