If they are, they are dumb. I don't think that is the hold-up
The hold-up is probably that he is so thin but he is no thinner than Brendan. Gavin is longer with way more athleticism at this point than Brendan but Brendan's shot is smoother. Brendo is low probability of accepting BYU offer. Prefers out of state. Gavin was dunking on the heads of the top AAU players in the country last summer. BYU has not had many athletes like him. Good kid from a good LDS family. Half black. You don't let kids like that have a chance to choose Arizona State over BYU. You own your own backyard first.
