We have really good attendance - even for a P5. That may be what we can bring that gets us into the P5 more than anything else. Even if we have to give up revenue to get it, having a top 25 attendance would be a big checkpoint for the P5. We have slipped since Cougar Stadium was first expanded, and are no longer top 25. Getting back into that club is something in our power. Having more attendance than every single P10 team is certainly a huge statement if the administration will make it that way.

This is really one of the only ways where we can exchange money for something the P5 values - attendance. The Big 12 would be much more likely to take a team that has more attendance than any other team in the Pac-10. It is one of the ways to spend money intelligently to get our way in.
