Former Players vs Bronco...
I find it interesting that when former players make a point about player execution and effort (most recent B. Kehl on 1320 this morning, but several others have come out--Harline, Nixon, Criddle, Logan, etc.) everyone takes stock in it. But when Bronco does it, "he's throwing his players under the bus", or its his fault because he tapped Howell to be DC, or some other lame excuse.

When my son was learning to mow and trim the lawn, I showed him time after time how to do certain things so the end result would look nice. Did he always execute my instructions and training completely? Starting out--rarely. As time went on, and continual instruction and training, he learned there was a reason for the things I taught him. His execution continued to improve, and so did the results.

Simple example, but not too far off from what BYU and tons of other D1 football programs go through.
