Look at how Utah's season's have gone the last couple of years with injuries to their QB. Brutal. Every team has injuries throughout a season. It's going to happen. How a team responds depends a lot on backups. Utah State lost Chuckie last year and was one game away from winning the MWC. I thought that was impressive. QB is a crucial position. I completely agree with you on that, but teams must try to adapt. Perhaps not playing with a QB the last couple of years has made Kyle Whittingham adapt to not relying so heavily on his QB. One thing I've noticed this year, is that if the QB isn't really playing well, Utah's passes have been incredibly conservative. Rarely over the the middle. Mostly sideline routes or deep balls. Now they've found Booker. Until teams stop him, he's going to continue to carry the offense.
