He's doing what's best for himself and his family. And he's grateful to the U for providing him that opportunity. I bet if BYU offered him a position that was even better for himself and his family (or even the same), he would love it.

I don't blame Whittingham at all for taking the U job. Several hundred thousand dollars a year is nothing to shake a stick at.
