The offense played more than well enough to win against both UNR and UCF...
The backups at QB and RB have performed more than adequately. 35 points should have been more than enough to get past Nevada.

The problem wasn't the offense (and losing Taysom Hill). Stewart has played better than we had any reasonable expectation of him to play (I think we lose to USU with or without Hill). It has been the defense, and defensive coaching/scheme that has lost us 3 games so far. The defense has been getting lit up since at least the Houston game. Nearly all our starters were playing then.

Bills was a legitimate loss, but, you forget that Jordan Johnson had looked bad even before his injury. Davis was probably our best option at that position anyway. Dalin Leavitt is a solid player, but, his loss isn't the reason our D has been getting lit up, either. The Alani Fua loss hurt, but, we weren't getting an sort of pressure on QB's with him on the field, either. The problem isn't personnel. It's coaching and scheme. The wheels were coming off this team even before we lost Taysom, etc. This is all on Bronco and Howell.
