And that's another question. Would a Big12 "1/2-share" dwarf our ESPN paycheck?
We would be giving up our current ESPN deal and trading it for what MHver3 calls a "half-share" of Big12 revenue. Would that "half-share" significantly exceed whatever ESPN is currently paying us?
Don't get me wrong. I want our football team to join the Big12 in the worst way, but I don't know if joining with a "half-share" would be all that big of a pay bump.
