Agreed. My question was where the $ would come from to pay the WCC to help us.
I was responding to mulletino's suggestion that we could use Big12 money to pay the WCC to keep our non-football/basketball sports, but if the Big12 wouldn't pay us much more than ESPN does now, then we would need to find another source for that money (or move our non-football/basketball teams to the Big Sky, Big West, WAC, Sunbelt, etc...).
I wasn't implying we shouldn't join the Big12 as at least a football member. Doing so is a no-brainer under almost any scenario.
