Having a Muslim or a Baptist coach at BYU? Both would certainly be very comfortable with the honor code and do a lot for the Church in terms of religious outreach.

In order to hire the right person, we have to be crystal clear on what is the objective of the BYU Football program? If it's to win games then we could get boosters to pony up the salary of a top coach. If it's to bring exposure to the Church indirectly, then we could find lots of good men to lead the team (or even a woman - imagine the news and media exposure.)
