We all know that the academic standards for BYU have gone way up in the last 20 years. Look at the average GPAs and test scores of these kids. What has also gone "up" is the spiritual standard as measured by: Eagle Scouts, Young Womens Medallion, and seminary attendance. 70%+ of entering freshman have completed these achievements . It was not like that before. What this means is BYU is represented by a student population that is 98.5% LDS and most of them have done the LDS things LDS kids are expected to do. There isn't a lot of room for non-members or members who are not religious in their natural orientation. To the contrary. So the Honor Code is not going to be reformed. If anything it will be tightened down.
