We've never been a middle of the road G5 team in the past, so why
should we accept that that's what we'll be in the future? Makes NO sense. This program has way more going for it than you and a bunch of others understand. Great attendance (even when it dips, we still draw better than anyone in the west except for USC and UCLA - look it up), terrific facilities, plenty of money, great TV situation, and so forth. Right now, the product on the field is bad. There's no question about that. What happened in the past when we went through similar (and even worse) situations? That's right - we bounced back. And we'll bounce back again. Maybe coaching changes happen, maybe they don't for a while. I don't know. What I do know is that nobody at BYU admin is going to allow the BYU football team to fall apart. Won't happen. There's no reason at all why we can't be the very strongest non-P5 program (we already are if you consider all the factors - clearly the product on the field is a disaster right now), and no reason why we can't be a program that regularly gets to 10 wins and is consistently ranked in the top 25. We ought to be able to make occasional runs into the top 10. That's what our history shows, and that's what BYU fans and administration expect.
