I didn't qualify that statement in the case of Doman. My own personal jury is still out with respect to Howell.

I don't have any problem with that. IMO, "Not the best choice" = mistake. A major point of my post was to acknowledge that mistakes have been done. Not to point out the relative degree of harm.

That's just it. I hear the same things you do and I don't hear arrogance. You're inferring things that may or may not be there. I know you don't like the hedge words in the previous sentence, but that's reality. The arrogance might be there. It might not. We don't know.
