I'm not sure any other coach would get better results under the current

restrictions in the program. High academic demands, honor code demands, BOT wanting the program run like a missionary training center (a la Eyrings interview with Bronco) Below average pay for experienced assistant Coaches, Head coach HAS to be LDS, BYU is doing YOU a favor mentality of the program. If all these criteria have to be met there is no way this program progresses any closer to the big boys no matter WHO is the head coach.
