Please describe a scenario in which the Big12 accepts a full member that will

not play on Sundays.

I live in the heart of Big12 country. The folks I know that are close to the current Big12 member institutions flatly say that no Sunday play was a deal breaker. It was never going to happen no matter how hard BYU fans wish to fantasize.

The only hope with the Big12 is as a football-only member.

BYU over played their hand because they could, B12 was weak then, B12 is strong

It was entirely in BYU's control. They pushed too hard. B12 went elsewhere.
