I have no insider information. And I am not associated the team, other than a fan. I usually do a pretty good job of not buying into rumors as well. But, here is why this rumor is so believable.

After the first game, there were a few posts on this board about nepotism. These posts were from people that are generally pretty well connected people. They were mostly ignored because we won, and won easily.

After the third and fourth game the posts got more frequent and more specific. Still by people that are generally pretty well connected.

Now it doesn't really matter if there is actually nepotism going on. But, if players believe they are losing playing time because of nepotism, there are going to be locker room problems.

I hope what you say is true. But the "vibe" from this team seems like there are some serious locker room problems.
