excitement over returning all their guys on a team that was much improved over the year before. Sure they lost games but they were way more competitive all year than they have been before. They're building something that looks to be at a level where they can compete for their conference.

We have not been as good as we like to think we are. It would appear we are trending downward while they are trending up. At least when determining preseason rankings. We will get the chance to prove if we are better or not. They will get the chance to prove if they have really arrived.

I don't know how much better we would have done if at all last year in the Pac than they did. They were just as good as us last year. Reminds me a lot of their football team. They were much improved last year but just weren't wuite to the point they were getting wins. This year, they took another step and they are getting wins. Very close wins but they are getting them. Could it be the same for their bball team?
