Reminds me of a relative that buys whatever car he sees w for sale sign, or
whatever lemon the greased back haired used car salesman shows him first. Never any due diligence, can't be bothered w paying 50.00 to have qualified mechanic go over w fine tooth comb.

So 6 wks later when the tranny falls out on I15, or when it launches the pistons through the hood and into orbit, he's utterly surprised, and never willing to admit it couldve been prevented. Seriously, he's sees no correlation between not doing his DD and taking the wise steps to prevent disaster, and the inevitable crappy outcome. It must be "meant to be" because he was driving by and saw it. The salesman/owner seemed really nice and very honest, and they were Mormon, so what could go wrong?

I'm not saying every detail aligns w Broncos rinse and repeat hiring practices. But, the outcome, and seemingly being oblivious to where it always goes wrong does seem similar. After all, if he did see the possible error of his ways, why would he keep hittin the reset button on the same M.O. again and again. Thoughts?
