well, he had that defense thrust upon him
by injury to Manumaleuna and a VERY gifted recruit in KVN and a miracle transfer of Kaveinga... Let's not forget he wasn't interested in starting (or putting in even the 2-deep) a 1st round draft pick.
Take away those three, one of which is on Bronco, and you have a very "meh" defense.
