If Adnan was with Jay at all after 4, they must have very quickly gone to move Hae's car then Adnan must have showed up with not much more than 30 minutes left of track practice. There's no time in that timeline to go one direction to buy some weed then go far in the other direction to smoke it and watch the sunset.
