One unfortunate consequence of this idea -- FCS teams need us more than we need

them. Without FBS/FCS matchups, I'm guessing several FCS schools would have to cut their football teams altogether.

BYU's payout to Savannah State is $405k and their ENTIRE athletics budget is $4.5 million for 6 mens/womens teams.

But otherwise, yes, it'd be better for the quality of play in the FBS division if these FBS/FCS matchups were done away with.
