If there are 3 cars in a bunch that I'm coming up on and I'm going to pass them anyway, then sure i'll hurry and pass them up first before getting over because I don't really want to try and squeeze between them. But typically if I plenty of room I'll just get over.

I think I see what you're saying and to a reasonable point I might overtake a couple more cars but probably wouldn't go too long without getting over.
