Whit has some huge weaknesses. If Bronco kept switching out offensive
coordinators the way Whit has done for a number of years in a row, or hired a one-year QB coach with far less experience than Doman (Doman had 3 years in the NFL and spent 5 or 6 years as QB coach) as one of those O.C.s, everybody here would be calling for his head (even more than they currently do - even I'd be on board). And Whit still hasn't solved their ongoing QB issues. I'm not familiar with what's in Utah's pipeline QB-wise, but history suggests it isn't much. At least Bronco has Taysom now, and some very, very promising guys coming in. Mangum, although unproven, is as good of a prospect as you're ever going to find. As for Whit, he is a great defensive coach (same as Bronco), and seems to be a good motivator. But is he better than Bronco? Whit has lost some real head-scratcher games, similar to Bronco.

About the only real category that we can say Whit has had the upper hand in is rivalry games. That's not a small deal, but the difference between Whit and Bronco really isn't that big. In fact, I'm thinking that if they were to ever switch roles, their results would be pretty similar.
