...and while I agree with you, having seven home games is a huge equalizer, along with the fact that even if you think its a 20% differential, it means Sitaki's defenses are still just marginally better than BYU's this year and Sitaki has not suffered anywhere near the injuries BYU has on his side of the ball. I don't disagree with you, but over the course of eleven games, teams tend to play to their strengths and Utah's defense has NOT been steller. Granted, their offense has been just anemic enough to keep Sitaki's people out there longer, the fact is he has suffered big letdowns just like Howell has. Sitaki's teams give up a LOT of >400 Yard games. Also if you go back four seasons, BYU's numbers under Howell are substantially better than Utah's. My point is that BYU should not be looking at what I as a 32 year observer and football writer would consider a lateral move. It should be going for someone with either SEC, NFL or combined experience, not a former Cougar that has really not proven that much except that people in the STATE of UTAH like him. You hire great, not replace.
