to pay DC that kind of coin after this season? I would speculate....no one. Same story on Erickson's $275k salary. Erickson is a surprisingly humble guy that everyone likes. Once again DC and Whit are long term buddies and I think that makes it likely that DC stays around.

I have not given up on DC. I have given up on the giraffe as a P12 QB. I think Whit forced DC to use Wilson because they wanted his experience & Whit needed to go to a bowl to keep his job. DC was the OC of the year at Missouri for a reason - he knows football and can run a really good offense. He obviously isn't confident that Wilson can run his type of offense and the lack of creativity is a little embarrassing. I also don't understand how Manning is the 2nd guy - he isn't a spread QB. If the Utes win 8-9 games this year, maybe Whit will pull the shackles off of DC next year. I hope next year the 3 top QBs are KT, Isom and Cox, with Hansen at #4. They are all QBs that can run well and pass. Wilson and Manning should transfer.
